Hi there!
I am writing a scientific article for my university about the electronic readout of the iPhone 12 pro's accelerometer and gyroscope. The course is called Inside my iPhone - Technology analysis of a smart phone and it's aim is to teach us how to look, ask and find information and we are using this phone as a case study. In the ifixit teardown they said that there was an Unknown Bosch sensortec accelerometer in it (https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/iPhone+12+and+12+Pro+Teardown/137669) so that's why I'm here. Does anyone know what sensors they are using? Does it even matter? Do most of them behave the same way and give rougly the same electronic readout?
Thanks!
Sólon.

Hello solangilo,
As it descirbed in ifixit website, it used Bosch sensortec device. This device was customized, information would not be public.

Yes, I know. But would the electronic readout be roughly the same?

Hello solangilo,
They are similar.
