Adjust step counter parameter for other vibration signal

Hi,

we try to use the BMA456 as a monitoring device and we will use the step counter to count the cycles of the maschine. But it isn't working good.

I think, that the step counter parameters have to be adjusted to our new solution.

How to get in contact with an application engineer as mentioned in the datasheet to adjust the parameters?

The BMA456 step counter is usually used for wearable/hearable devices such as watches and headphones. For BMA456 step counter used on maschine, if you need any further information and support on this topic, please get in contact with one of our official distributors or sales representatives to allow us to review each project on a case-by-case basis.

Hi Robin,

I have contacted all of your listed distributors. In some cases I never get an answer. and in two cases I get a quote for the BMA456. But no one answered my technical question. And they said, please contact Bosch support. 

So what should I do no? Bosch said, contact distributor and distributor said, contact Bosch.

How can I get in contact now to clarifiy my technical questions?

We plan to use many thousands of that sensor per year. Otherwise we have to look for another supplier.
