Hi everyone,
I'd like to know the official/correct specifications for the accelerometer on board of the Nicla Sense ME (BHI260AP).
At the following discussion:
it is understood that: BHI260AB cutoff frequency will vary according to ODR. The relationship between cutoff frequency and ODR could be referred in BMI160 data sheet (2.4.1 Data Processing Accelerometer). is this correct?
It means that I can see a "theoretically" vibration signal up to 342 Hz (684/2 Hz)?
Thanks
Best Regards

Hi fnap17,
Yes, it represents the maximum frequency of the signal allowed to pass through the low-pass filter.

Hi BSTRobin,
then, by setting an ODR = 1600 (therefore cutoff freq [Hz] = 684), the signal will be low-pass filtered at 684Hz before being sampled at ODR Hz? so anyway I will be able to acquire data every 1/ODR seconds?

Hi fnap17,
Yes, the BHI260AP itself supports an ODR of up to 1600 Hz.
