BHI260 SDK hub driver for BMP280? i.e. should be able to reuse the BME280.... help

Hi,

We need to support the BMP280 on the BHI260 hub

1) Can source-code form the BME280 be provided? The difference between BME280Pressure and BMP280ressure would be that of the Device-ID register check to have functionality! (ommiting differences in measurement interval setting it appears a direct drop-in)
2) Can a compiled binary for the BMP280 be provided in the SDK if code isn't to be shared?

Just picking up from another dev for the BHI260 who didn't get time to finish the BMP280 integration for the BHI260 and its a bit frustrating that 99% of the work is already there in the BME driver.... help from Bosch greatly appreciated 🙂
