I would like to ask you a question about BHI260AB.
It's a question about VDD and VDDIO's Voltage. Datasheet says,
The VDD (IMU Analog Domain) is 1.71 to 3.6V.
VDDIO (I/O Domain and Fuser2 Core) is confirmed to be 1.71-1.89V.
Currently, I use 3.0V for other items, and I use 3.0V for both VDD and VDDIO for BHI160.
When using BHI260AB, VDDIO tries to drop the voltage using DC/DC to 1.8V.
The question here is whether VDD uses 3.0V and VDDIO uses 1.8V.
If you use it without any problems, I would like to know the difference in current consumption compared to when using VDD 1.8V and VDDIO 1.8V.
To reduce current consumption as much as possible, please guide me on how to set it up.

Hi mgchoi,
VDDIO power supply range must be 1.71 to 1.89V.
When you use VDD 3.0V and VDD 1.8V, is the host MCU 3.0V?
The power consumption of VDD at 3.3V is higher than that of VDD at 1.8V, but the difference is small.

Is it okay to use 3.0V for VDD and 1.8V for VDDIO?
What happens if the Host MCU is not 3.0V?
I want to make both 1.8V using DC/DC, is it okay?

Hi mgchoi,
If you supply VDD 3.0V and VDDIO 1.8V, it is better to supply MCU 1.8 as your power system has 1.8V power source.
This is the recommended connection diagram in data sheet.
If you use DC/DC power supply, please select DC/DC with small ripple, and the power supply voltage shall not be lower than 1.71V.
