BMA280 (accelerometer only) ... can I do much with BSX-Lite ?

I am curious if I can get basic accelerometer functionality out of the BSX-Lite binary library.

For my needs, I just need basic acceleration / deceleration data, and ideally tilt angles (slow rate, based on xyz orientation of accelerometer)

Does anyone know if BSX-Lite, using accelerometer only would be useful for our needs ?

I have read the Integration Guide ... but it gives confusing answers.

The Fusion library offers flexibility for choosing the desired combination of accelerometer,
magnetometer and gyroscope.

The BSXlite fusion library requires three hardware sensor data (i.e. Accelerometer,
Magnetometer and Gyroscope) and their corresponding time stamps of the host that match the
time at which the raw data was measured by each sensor.

Thanks for your inquiry.

BSXLite needs multiple sensors to work together. It doesn't work with only one sensor such as accelerometer, or magnetomter, or gyroscope. BSXLite works with accel + mag as eCompass, or accel  + gyro as 6DoF IMU mode, or accel + mag + gyro for 9DoF fusion mode.
