Hello,
On our boards, we notice that communication with the BMA400 via MSP430FR5964 over the SPI is drawing more current than anticipated. For example, when we perform an 8 byte read of the XYZ accelerations at 100 times a second with the BMA400 in normal mode, the current draw is about 100uA on average; which is far more than anticipated. The spec for the BMA400 during normal mode operation is 14.5uA. Is there a spec for the BMA regarding current consumption during SPI communication? It's unclear if the BMA is drawing the current, or if it's a hardware artifact. Hoping for some clarity if anyone has any. Cheers

Hi cmorris,
Could we know your schematic first?
