BMA400 + nRF5340

I am working on a project using the Nordic nRF5340 to commuinicate with the BMA400 via SPI.  I am trying to use the API from here: https://github.com/BoschSensortec/BMA400-API.  Is there any examples on how to shim the driver with the correct nrf_spi read/write functions?
