BMA456 without configuration file

Hi there,

In my application, I only want to poll  the ACC values of X/Y/Z. No other features are required.

Can I skip downloading the configuration file?

Hi arnet2000,

Normally the firmware should be loaded to BMA456. You also could read RAW data if you don't need the features.

Hi All, 

I faced the same problem and I managed to poll the raw ACC by skipping the actions in red of step (b) and to avoid checking the status of interrupt feature engine ( step (c) ).

It will work if you following official operation in data sheet or sensor API.
