BME 680 gas

Hello everyone!

I have read all the technical specifications (https://cdn-shop.adafruit.com/product-files/3660/BME680.pdf) of this sensor, but I am not clear about one issue.
What gas does the sensor measure specifically?
Also, could you explain me what is meant by gas test in reference to ethanol and B-VOC (page 8)?
