Hi, currently I am conducting project to measure the air quality by using the sensor of BOSCH BME680 for education purpose. In the data sheet it says that "As a raw signal, BME680 will output resistance values and its changes due to varying VOC concentrations (the higher the concentration of reducing VOCs, the lower the resistance and vice versa)",
I am confused that about "reducing VOCs". Is that meaning that when the concentration of VOCs is higher, the resistance is lower? Or when the concentration of VOCs is lower, the resistance is lower? Please help. Thank you

When processing raw gas sensor data, the lower the raw resistance value means the higher the VOC concentration.
Please note that in general, we would highly recommend using our BSEC library, that will process raw sensor data into an air quality level (IAQ index).
