BME 680 with arduino nano 33 Iot

Dear all, 

I'm trying to use the BSEC library with the arduino nano 33 iot board (SAMD -  ARM Cortex M0+). I've tried the given solutions by adapting the platform.txt file but it doesn't seem to work. However using the basis BME680 library from adafruit works perfectly. But as we also want to measure the CO2 equivalent we need the IAQ sensor in the BSEC library to work. I'm using the basic script from the BSEC library

When I read out the serial port of my board I always get the error BME680 warning error: 2. 

Any thoughts?

For your description "However using the basis BME680 library from adafruit works perfectly. ", you could run example https://github.com/boschsensortec/BSEC-Arduino-library/blob/master/examples/basic/basic.ino to get BSEC output BSEC_OUTPUT_CO2_EQUIVALENT value.

Did you find an solution? Having trouble myself with the BME688 and the nano 33 iot board in my case I get no output whatsoever on the console.

If you can't get any output on the console, you can check if you migrate example code to your platform correctly.
