BME680 Resistance keeps going up

Hi all, 

I am trying to use the BME680 sensor without the library as I am a raspberry pi user. I am outputing the resistance value of the sensor. Even after turning it on for a day, why is the resistance still going up? It increases from 100k to 400k ohm..... May I know what's wrong wit it?

Hi Sir:

    For a new sensor,  it need constant work more than 8 hours in LP mode to achieve a relative stable and reliable detection of air quality changes,  and if the more better performance  you want to get, the sensor need constant work more than 7 days.

   And then if sensor is placed in a stable enviromental condition, which means the constant temperature/humidity/air compositon etc., you are able to get a relative stable resistance value.
