WE had high hopes on the 680 to detect and identify gases but find it neither detects the level of gases nor the type of gases. I am referring to detection of carbon monoxide. The subcontracted firm does not think it is suited to detection of CO as it does not.

Hi Nyead,

When you use the BME680, the BSEC algorithm does not directly output the result of identifying the gas type. You can use BME AI Studio to train the gas, generate the configuration file, and then run the BSEC algorithm to identify the gas type.
