BME680 waterproofing

Hi ,

I would like to use the BME680 in a commercail product for air quality monitoring . I need waterproof the BME680 since its an handelfd device. For this I plan to  use a ePTFE membrane like people use to wtaerproof  BME280.

However i wonder if the membrane will influence air quality monitoring ? Is there any documents on that subject ?Is it just a linear calibration to do or is it more complex ?

Protective membranes can also be used for the BME680 in air quality monitoring applications with relatively low impact on the sensor performance. Since we are not supplying these membranes, we strongly recommend to get it touch directly with your membrane supplier for appropriate recommendations.
