BME8266: do short interval measurement (3second) decrease its lifespan?

I am reading my BME680 every 3 seconds. Will it increase the lifespan of the sensor if I only read the measurement every 50sec or every 150 seconds ?

BME680 is designed to have a lifespan greater than 10 years, even with continuous use every 3 seconds.

Note that the BSEC library only supports 2 data rates: 1/3 Hz and 1/300 Hz. 1/50Hz and 1/150Hz are not supported. (1/150Hz could in theory be achieved with ULP+ mode)
