Hello! I am a software engineer and currently we are doing a market analysis on the available MEMS-IMUs on the market. Currently I am evaluating BMI088 IMU and I am missing some technical parameters from the data sheet. I need to learn the Bias Instability term for accelerometer and gyroscope of the IMU and the misalignment term for the gyroscope. Could you please support me on this issue?

Thank you for your inquiry. BMI088 gyro bias instability is not specified in the datasheet. You can find it in the Flyer at https://www.bosch-sensortec.com/media/boschsensortec/downloads/product_flyer/bst-bmi088-fl000.pdf. It is less than 2 degree/hour.
BMI088 gyro has typical cross axis sensitivity of +/-1% in the datasheet. This corresponds to the misalignment error of +/-(atan(0.01)) = +/-0.57 degrees.
Thank you very much for the detailed explanation. By any chance, is there a way to learn the bias instability and the misalignment for the accelerometers as well? That would be very helpful.

The BMI088 accel bias instability is less than 30ug. The typical accel alignment error is +/-0.5 degrees that is specified on page 9 of BMI088 datasheet at https://www.bosch-sensortec.com/media/boschsensortec/downloads/datasheets/bst-bmi088-ds001.pdf.
Regarding to the BMI088 Gyro Bias instability estimation, my calc result is that, similar to BMI088 spec. @ 12Hour static data log catch on
marble platform, 125dps range, -3db Bandwidth 12Hz, 100Hz ODR.
