Hi all,

is there a way to detect if a person is lying in bed or sitting on the edge of the bed

(and then detecting if the person has stood up - which works already)

I am using BMI160

Hello Wela,

This totally depends on application level I think.

Let's think a person lies in bed and BMI160 in watch, then z value is 1 g. If so, z value is 0 g when the person stood up.

Of course, BMI160 supports our bsxlite and more features, but just in this case, I don't think you need complicated features.
