BMI160 free-fall feature cannot wakeup the device in screen-off state when free-fall occurred

we have implemented sensor free fall detection  in Android A11 version which has BMI160 accelerometer and gyrometer

It works fine when the device is in active state(display ON) But when the device is suspended, sensor events do not come which means it is not put into LOW POWER MODE
