I am currently upgrading the work done for a project in previous years which utilises different sensors including a gyroscope. Previously the BMI160 IMU was used which has a clear user guide on github. As low power consumption is key we have decided to use the BMI270 but there is no such user guide. I have gone through the github files provided but I am still not that experienced a programmer and was wondering if there was anything out there that would be of help. Any help would be massively appreciated.

it shows an example on how to interact with BMI270 using the sensor API on Arduino platforms (as long as it has SPI or I2C and reasonable amount of memory).
