You can refer to the sensor settings recommended in the BMP390 data sheet "3.5 Filter selection" for different use case.
Thanks for the reply. Yes I had previously checked Filter Selection table before. But my use case insn't there. It is not drone or drop detection. I'm referring to a object falling in high speed (e.g. 250km/h). The sensor would perform pressure readings at every second or so. One example is automatic parachute deployment of a rocket stage.
In summary, I would like to know what is the best sensor configuration for a high pressure variation environment.
