Hello,
I have a question for Bosch Sensortec “BMP280” digital pressure sensor. Is there chemical washing or washing with deionized water have a negative effect on the sensor after this sensor is integrated into the electronic card? The card is not powered during the washing stages. There are notes regarding liquid contact in documents BST-BMP280-HS000-07 and BST-BMP280-DS001-19, but I don’t unsure. I'm waiting for your help on the subject.
Best regards,

As mentioned in the HSMI manual you referred to, the BMP280 must be protected against direct contact with any kind of liquids. Unwanted liquids may cause performance degradation or complete malfunction of the sensor over time. Alternative, you must manually protect the sensing hole (e.g. with kapton tape) to avoid contamination.
