BMP280 Part Marking

Hello, we recently received a batch of BMP280 chips which when placed on our PCB are ALL (40/40) reading 4 - 5 mBar low compared to our calibrated pressure meter, and also when compared to our previous batch of PCB's. There have been no changes to our firmware or circuit board, so we would like to verify if these parts are legitimate or not.

The parts have the following marking:

OTB-KL

Per the latest datasheet, that last 'L' does not look correct. Can you confirm?

Thanks for your inquiry.

The laser marking "OTB-KL" is not the correct marking for BMP280. It should be "xxx-KS" or "xxx-KM" according to the latest BMP280 datasheet. Please refer to the topic at https://community.bosch-sensortec.com/t5/MEMS-sensors-forum/BMP280-measures-with-an-10hPa-offset/td-... for more information.
