Hi, I understand that the BMP280 has been discontinued by Bosch. However such parts are still readily available from suppliers such as Aliexpress. Are these conterfeit devices or do some 3rd parties have a license to continue production?
Please purchase Bosch sensors from authorized distributors as shown at https://www.bosch-sensortec.com/about-us/contact/our-distributors-and-sales-representatives/ after you click different rigions. Obviously the supplier you mentioned is not one of our authorized distributors. Therefore, we are not sure if those BMP280 parts are real parts or counterfeit devices. And it is clear that there is no 3rd party has license to continue BMP280 production.
