BMP384 Gel

Hi there, We are in the process of launching our first project with theBMP384 and we received the components recently. When we inspect them it looks like the gel layer is not there. Am I stupid, or is there a problem? I am submitting a picture of one of the units, directly from the reel.

As you are launching a project, could we know some information about your project: as you select BMP384 in your project, what are the requirements of your products for barometers?

The gel is transparent, so the sensor part shown in the picture is like this.

Thanks for the reply! I will have a second go, checking the gel.

We have been using the BMP280 as an altimeter for several years, so we are just making an upgrade. We weather-protected the BMP280 with a GoreTex film, and we hope that we can avoid this process with the new sensor.

According your requirement, you could use BMP384 or BMP585 to be mass produced this year.
