Hi all,
I have read on the datasheet that the relative accuracy is +/- 0.03hPa and is between 700-1300hPa, I am just wondering if this is the range it can operate with that accuracy, or if is this the sensor operating limits when using relative pressure. because I am wanting to use this sensor for comparing the pressure between two points and the difference in pressure is only around 1hPa
Cheers, Nathan

Hi,
Thanks for your inquiry.
According to BMP390 datasheet the typical relative accuracy is +/-0.03hPa or +/-3Pa or +/-25cm under the range of 700 ~ 1100hPa and 25C ~ 40C per 10kPa or 100hPa. This means that in the range of 700 ~ 1100hPa and 25C ~ 40C if the environment pressure changes from 1030hPa to 930hPa with 100hPa delta by altitude going up for example, BMP390 will show pressure change of 100hPa +/- 0.03hPa. If the pressure change between two points in your application is only 1hPa in the range of 700 ~ 1100hPa and 25C ~ 40C, then BMP390 will show pressure change of these two points 1hPa +/- 0.03hPa.
Thanks.
