[BMX055] testing values

Hi again,

I was wondering how can we test values read then converted of the BMX055 ?

I mean, when we have a sensor which measures temparture, it's easy to know if value that we have read/convert are rational, but with acceleration and angular rate, it seems too be a little bit harder !

For acceleration, we can only test if az= 1g  then ax=1g and ay=1g ...

But what about the gyrometer ?

And the magnetometer ?

For accelerometer, using gravity is definitely the easiest.

For gyroscope data, you can easily test the static case. When not moving -> 0dps. To test in motion you need a rate table.

Testing the magnetometer is more tricky, typically done with 3 Helmholtz coils to generate a known magnetic field.
