Is BMX160 being discountinued? Digikey lists it as such.

BMM150 was around since 2012, what is the expected longevity of BMM150?

Hi,

we use a BMX160 on an existing pcb, means pins 2/3 are connected to GND. Due to unavailability of BMX160 we consider to replace them with a BMI160 since the magnetometer is not needed. But we would like to keep the pcb. BMI160's pins 2/3 are actually used as option as an auxillary I2C for an external BMM150.

• Will BMI160 still work with grounded pins 2/3?
• What happens when firmware turns on the auxillary I2C by accident?
• Any backdraws to be expected?
