BMX160 why z-axis cutoff frequency of acc is only 353 Hz?

According to the datasheet the 3 dB cutoff frequency is always lower than for the other axes? Is there a particular reason for this? And is it possible to get unfiltered data?

Hi,

BMX160 accel unfiltered data is at 1600Hz ODR and gyro unfiltered data is at 6400Hz ODR where you can get them through FIFO. You cannot have both at 1600Hz for both unfiltered data. Unfiltered data doesn't have aliasing problem. The internal low pass filter curves require NDA. Please contact your local sales person or field application engineer to get the NDA placed.
