BNO055 SYS_ERR 0x3A: 9 Fusion algorithm configuration error

Dear all,

I use BNO055 sensor in NDOF mode and sometimes I get the system error 0x3A with "9 Fusion algotithm configuration error". After restart, there is no more error.

Does anybody know, why this error comes?

Does your team have some solutions? Maybe can you tell me in which situation this error will come?

Hi Justina,

At present I do not have an exhaustive list as to what triggers the Algorithm configuration error, but from the post that you have linked, it was triggered by setting offsets that were out of bounds of what the library could accept. 

Assuming your BNO055 doesn't boot with that error,  do you configure it in between when you get that error? How long was it running before you saw that error?
