I am trying to calibrate my BNO055 sensor using the Bosch Development Desktop app. I have the sensor itself and not the USB stick. How do I connect the sensor to my Windows computer? I have seen Bosch recommending to use the shuttle board along woth the application board. Should I purchase the common application board 2.0 that can be used accross Bosch sesnors? BNO055's ahuttle board does not have a USB outlet, how can this be connected to a computer? I would appreciate if someone can give me more insights on this.

Hi daphnemariaravi,
The Application Board 2.0 acts as a USB-I2C or USB-SPI bridge enabling the Development Desktop 2.0 software on the Windows platform to communicate with the sensor. The BNO055 USB stick offers the same functionality in a smaller form factor and lower overall cost.
In order to connect the BNO055 to the Development Desktop 2.0 software, you will have to replicate the same protocol stack.
Note that you can also calibrate and test the device independent of the Development Desktop 2.0. There are BNO055 libraries available for a variety of DIY platforms like Arduino.

P.S. In the meantime, I will look into the possibility of the stack implementation on Arduino.
