BNO080 Difference between "Samplig Period" and "Synchronization Interval"

Hello, 

I work currently on the BNO080 and in the example project of the BNO080 there is mention of two parameters :

• "GIRV_SYNC_INTERVAL" witch seems to correspond to the "Synchronization Interval" in section 4.3.24 of the SH-2 Reference Manual.
• "config.reportInterval_us" whitch seems to correspond to the "Report Interval" in section 1.4.5 of the BNO080 Data Sheet.

I don't understand the difference of this two parameters. Could you please give me more information.
