Bandwidth and filter of BMA456

Hi,

I'm trying to use the BMA 456 for some simple vibration measurement.

Would be interesting to know:

1) Does the BMA 456 has an anti-aliasing filter? As i read the datasheet, there is only an averaging filter.

2) Where does the 3dB Cutoff frequency come from? is this a filter function of the sensor, or is this due to mechanical damping?
