Bosch BMI160 Thermal Resistance

Hello everyone,

I wish to inquire about the Thermal Resistance value for the Bosch BMI160. I can't seem to find such a value inside the datasheet for the device but am able to find other types of information regarding temperature for the device. Perhaps I missed the value somewhere. If anyone could provide me with the value I would highly appreciate it! It is usually modeled as thetajc.

Hi,

Can you please explain the backgound why would you need the thermal resistance?  We do specify the operating range for our sensor which is -40C to +85C, we dp have handling, soldering and mounting instructions that you can find here, which explain recommendation for placement in PCB, solder profile....

There is another thread regarding thermal data.

This data is not provided for any of our product up to now, and none have power consumption which would require cooling.
