Hello.
We have been testing different operation modes for the BNO055 sensor (ACCONLY and NDOF) What we have done is this:
So, what we noticed is that when the loop is running, the current consumption jumps from around 9 mA to 13 mA when in ACCONLY mode and from around 10 mA to 13 mA when in NDOF mode.
However, we expected a much more important difference of current consumption between the two operation modes. Does anyone know of a specific reason why it would be doing that? Or does anyone have any values for this kind of testing.
Thank you in advance.

Hello Justin,
Could we know more detailed about your test, what current are you testing? VDD pin?

Hello Robin,
Thank you for your answer,
Yes we did measure the current on the 3V pin of the Arduino. We set up the amperemeter to 200 mA on direct current to measure it.
Is there anything else specific you need to know ?

Hello Justin,
Is the 3V on your board directly connected to the VDD of bno055?
This typical current consumption of NDOF mode in data sheet.
