Hey!
We are developing an Autonomous Mobile Robot. As per our design, an IMU sensor is placed between two motors that are in a differential drive setup.
The IMU sensor that we are presently using is heavily affected by EMF interference generated by the two motors that are present on either sides.
We are contemplating on testing with "BOOSTXL-SENSORS" from Texas Instruments which uses IMU: BMI160. How will this module behave under such EMF interference?

Hi,
We don't have BMI150. Maybe you meant BMI160.
BNO055 has accel + gyro + mag 9-axis sensors inside. If you only use BNO055 6DoF sensor fusion mode which means that the mag is powered off, then BNO055 will not be affected by EMF interference. However, if you want to use BNO055 9DoF sensor fusion, then EMF interference will affect the BNO055 performance.
Thanks.
