Frequent axis dropout from BMM150 on the BMI270 shuttleboard

Hi,

I've been experimenting with the BMM150 sensor that comes with the BMI270 shuttleboard and have noticed a really odd issues.  On one axis (normally z) the reading keeps dropping to zero.  I've attached a screenshot from Dev Desktop.

Also the ranges are way off - z axis ranges from 20 to 130, x from -40 to 50 and y from -30 to 70.  There doesn't seem to be anyway of calibrating this built into Dev Desktop or am I missing something?

Hi Chris,

There seem to be a bug in our implementation of BMI270 driver in Development Desktop at the moment. Since you have an application board and shuttle, you can use COINES in the meantime, which directly uses our Sensor API.

You appear to be grossly overestimating my c ability 🙂

I'll take a look at coines - it doesn't seem to have anything for the BMI270 with it though, only the BMI160?

I've been looking more at COINES - I can't see anyway examples for BMM150 anywhere can you point me in the right direction for this?
