Getting wrong preassure readings

Temperature works fine but preassure is around 720hpa but should be around 980hpa. 

The readouts are

Thanks for your inquiry.

It seems like you are using BMP280. Calculating pressure value needs temperature raw data as well. Please see the attached "sample_calculation_BMP280.xlsx" to check your BMP280 temperature and pressure calculations. You can manually input calibration parameters and ADC_t and ADC_p to see if you can get the correct values. If not, then it means the BMP280 sensor has issue in pressure sensor part. We need you to ship the PCB to your local Bosch office for failure analysis.

I have a BMP280 and a BME280 both have the same problem, they are on a PCB like this:

Thanks for the information.

From your Excel file, the temperature calculation has correct result, while the pressure calculation has wrong result. It seems like both BMP280 and BME280 sensors on the tiny PCBs have issues. If you want, you can ship these two PCBs to your local Bosch support and then we can do failure analysis on these two sensors.

In addition, BMP280 has been end of life. Please switch to BMP390 or the new BMP581 for your projects.
