We are trying to evaluate the Step Counter and Detector use case of your BMA400 accelerometer. There are dozens of step counter configuration settings that need to change in order to compare wrist worn and non-wrist implementations.
Development Desktop 2.0 seems to offer a method to quickly Save and Load sensor settings. However, using "Save sensor settings" yields an empty (zero byte) text file and "Load sensor settings" always gives the "Please select a valid file to load data" error dialog. A file format specification for the sensor settings cannot be located.
Can anyone suggest a way to change many settings in DD2.0 on Application Board 3.0? The step counter interrupt preset does not change every setting needed for wrist worn. Our evaluation requires documented settings of several Data Export files.

Hi Sunrise-Labs,
Usually, the sensor settings are manually set in DD2.0 menu.
Do you mean you need to save the setting, modfy setting, loading setting for your step counter test case?

Thank you for responding so quickly!
What is the function or purpose of these two Menu choices on Development Desktop 2.0?
File --> Load sensor settings Ctrl+Shift+L
File --> Save sensor settings Ctrl+Shift+S
They appear to provide a way to Export and Import the sensor settings. How do you use them and what do they actually do?
Load sensor settings seems to require a specific file format.
Save sensor settings only creates an empty text file.
Can anyone recommend a way to Load/Save or Export/Import dozens of sensor settings automatically, not manually?

Hi Sunrise-Labs,
After check, currently DD2.0 had the menu "Load sensor settings" and "Save sensor settings", but this feature has stopped using.
