How to measure water pressure use BME280

Does BME280 sensor measure water pressure?

If can measure, how to measure water pressure?

BME280 can only measure 1100hPa. Assuming ambiant pressure at around 1000hPa, that is only ~100hPa range for measuring overpressure. In terms of water pressure that is about 1 meter. Nevertheless it can be done like this:
