We have been using the BME280 chip for pressure and humidity measurement and have been very impressed with its performance. We would now like to expand our field of use to include monitoring pressure in liquid streams. Do you have a chip that is compatible with liquid media? The sensor coudl be exposed to strong acids and bases and also organic solvents. Ideally some kind of PTFE wetted surface would be ideal. The other possibility woudl be to immerse an exising sensor in a fluorocarbon oil that woudl protect it from the test liquids. What would you expect, for example, the impact would be if we immersed the BME 280 in a fluorocarbon oil? Clearly, we would lose the ability to measure humidity but in this instance our interest is only in pressure. Maybe you have a different chip that would be better suited to a liquid application.
