Hello, For one of our project, we are looking for a gyroscope that doesn't work with vacuum (the device will be filled with helium). Do you have gyroscope that we can use? Best Regards |

Hi,
Thanks for your inquiry.
MEMS gyroscope chips are sensitive to helium. If you do a Google search with keywords of helium and gyroscope, you will find a short article talking about this.
Thanks.

Hi,
Indeed I already knew that as I did some research before posting something here. I know that gyroscope are sensitive to helium because they work with vacuum. That's why I asked if by any chance it exists some type of gyroscope that doesn't?
Best Regards

Hi,
Unfortunately no. What you can do is try to seal a gyroscope in helium to see if it works all the time or not.
Thanks.
