Hi,
I am using BMP280 sensor in order to calculate altitude. The BMP280 is soldering on PCB and connected to the host via i2c communication. The host is SOM (system on module) with Android operation system. The driver for the BMP280 is implemented as described on BMP280 datasheet by the basic software - not Bosch API (we did not find Bosch API for Android).
I was download BOSCH application "Altitude Reader",manual calibrate the altitude and start to track the altitude when the product is static and not moving, the product is locating in my office.
I am notice driffiting of the altitude (increasing) during the time, after 1 hour the altitude change by 6 meter up, why?

Could you please share more details about the conditions for your test? Unless you are using a controlled pressure chamber, the ambient atmospheric pressure is not stable over time and will vary based on weather changes, events in your room, etc. Since altitude here is derived from absolute pressure, it would be interesting to compare the measured atmospheric pressure to some reference/ground truth, otherwise local variations are to be expected over time.
