More details required to use temperature sensor in BNO055

Hi,

We have gonethrough with the details available in BNO055 datasheet about temperature sensor.

We want to know more about this temperature sensor to use it in our product with position details of Accelero,Gyro and Magnetometer.

We are able to see only 2 registers for the temperature sensor.

To change the temperature source and to change the unit for the temperature readings.

It will be useful for us, if you provide more details about this inbuilt temperature sensors in BNO055.

Hi Sir:

BNO055 temperature sensor can't be sensed the temperature, this feature is only for internal TCO or TCS compensation.

If you use it for external temperature, deviation and accuracy is not known and don't get a stable offset. It means the deviation is always stay and can't be fixed with an offset or some offsets calibration to compensate.

If you want to use temperation sensor, bme280 and bme680 are be recommanded.
