I am looking for a sensor system, which I can integrate into a wearable product. It should detect his specific position relatively to the user. I am thinking about doing this with a accelerometer + gyro to detect the movement in this position. Could you give me a hint which sensor system I can use and what software I can use to teach the system? I am thankfull for every hint.

Hello IlluFashion,
If you don't have your own sensor fusion algorithm, BHI260AP could be best option for you.

It is already integrated our sensorfusion solution.

Thanks for your reply. At the moment I am working with an arduino UNO. Is there a chance to get this sensor running on my arduino? Where can I buy it?

You can buy it thru Digikey
https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/bosch-sensortec/SHUTTLE-BOARD-SET-BHI260AB/11610950
And, here is the shuttle board information.

For test, I recommend to test with our DD2.0 with application 2.0 board first, then implement to your side.

Thanks for the links.
Do you think a 6-Axes - IMU is enough for our application or would you say we need a 9 Axes - absolute orientation sensor? The sensor shall detect, whether I lift my arm to the side.
