1) I have implemented the step counter output on the Nicla Sense ME, however, it seems that the total steps are being saved, is there a way to reset the number? Moreover, if there is no reset, the value is saved as a float value, is there a fix in place for when the steps value would go over the maximum float number, so it doesn't overflow?
2) The Nicla Sense ME uses the bq25120 battery charger, by checking the library there seems to be some implemented ways of checking the battery level. My question is, is there a specific line of code that I can use in Arduino to get a print of the level of the battery?
Thanks in advance!
1.Reset the sensor and the pedometer will be cleared. Do you want to clear the pedometer separately during the use of sensor?
2.At present, there is no code that checks the battery level. You can see whether there is such code on Arduino forum.
Hey Robin, yes, I would like to clear the step sensor data while the code is running, so no power removal. Is that possible?
Thanks for letting me know that the battery cannot be measure. It's a shame sadly as it is quite an important detail.
The step counter is output directly and cannot be reset without sensor reset.
