Optimal amout of training data for algorithm

Hello all!

I read that too much training data can compromise the performance of AI just as too less can. I'm wondering if there is a way to find out the optimal amount of training data for the algorithm?

I'm working with 3 classes and the standard temperature profile.

If you use a new sensor, you need to run it for at least 24 hours to allow the sensor to stabilize before recording the data.

unfortunately, that wasn't the question. I asked whether there is a way to find out the optimal amount/ total recording time of the data that I use to train the algorithm in AI studio.

In theory, longer recording time, larger sample size, and higher accuracy after training.
