Can you provide this version, 2.2.0.0, with matching generic config files for ESP32-C3 ?

Please refer attached BSEC2.2.0.0 library work for ESP32-C2 and ESP32-C3.

You could download BSEC2.2.0.0 package from https://www.bosch-sensortec.com/software-tools/software/bme688-software, then you will see config file under the following folder:
