Our company is conducting the Zero-g offset temperature verification for the SMI230. I noticed in the documentation that the Zero-g offset temperature drift for the accelerometer is ±0.2 mg/K (Figure 1), and for the gyroscope, it is ±0.015 °/s/K (Figure 2).
My question is: I am testing the Zero-g offset temperature drift in a temperature chamber from -20°C to 85°C (with a zero calibration performed at 25°C beforehand)Figure 3. What are the upper and lower limits for determining a Fail in terms of the offset? How is it calculated? What is the reference standard?
Should I calculate the limits as (20 + 85 = 105), 105 * 0.0002g = 0.021g as the standard for the upper and lower limits?
Or should I use Zero-g offset (including temperature and lifetime effects) = 20 mg as the standard for the limits?
