Version of BSEC Software

Could we know why don't use latest BSEC2.4.0.0 software and will use BSEC_2.0.6.1_Generic_Release_04302021?

I'm designing a project using the pi3g which is not compatible with the latest version of BSEC. The code won't compile and will keep looking for BSEC_2.0.6.1_Generic_Release_04302021.
